See ya September

I can't believe that September is almost over. It has gone by so fast. Time seems to go by so much faster when you are an adult. I am so excited that Jaidyn is finally using the potty!!! We have been working on it for a couple of months. She has been going back and fourth. Some days she would do well and others she would not go at all. Finally... My cousin gave me the idea to start bribing(I think that is how it is spelt) her. I started bribing her with candy, didn't work. So... We have moved on to Dora movies. She was so excited! I love it! Changing 2 1/2 year old diapers suck!!! I am so tired today. I made three giant pots of elk chili and cleaned my house yesterday. Its better than it sounds. Drew was so nice yesterday and helped me clean. Its amazing how fast things get done when he helps. Drew will be taking off again this weekend for the elk hunt. I am excited to have all the meat, but sad to be a hunting widow. I hope that he gets a good sized one. I guess its going to be a girls weekend. I will have to think of something fun to do.

Monday

I decided to finally keep a blog going. I have some amazing family members that keep one and I love to see them. It is so nice to see what is going on in their lives even though we are so far apart. Its crazy to see how fast things change, how our children grow so fast. I am so greatful for my family and my husbands family that have been so great to accept me. They have made me feel like a true part of their family. Things in my life are going good. We are now firmly planted in our house. When we drive by the old apartment Jaidyn will say,"NO, where is the new house". She does not want to go back there at all. We have to tell her that we are just driving by. We all love the new house. Jaidyn especially like the extra room. Drew and Jaidyn recently played "football" on the grass together. She loved it!!! I love to watch the developing relationship between those two! Drew has an amazing love for his daughter. In her daddy's eyes she does no wrong and when she does he is quick to forgive. Jaidyn definatly has him firmly wrapped around her finger. I am so lucky to have both of them!!! I have been working a lot lately, nothing out of the ordinary. I would love to get my photography business going so that I could have more time to spend with my family. We will also be adding another member to our family she will hopefully be born in December. Haha... It will be a dog!!! I finally found a dachshund breeder in Northern Nevada that breeds the color we want and is papered. So, she will be my christmas present! Drew is doing good. He has been keeping his self busy hunting. He just finished his bow hunt, in which he got a very large two point. Just this weekend the neighbor dog ate the antlers :(... I feel so bad for him. Drew is excited about his up coming elk hunt, he had permission to hunt on some private property. Jaidyn is growing up so fast. I can't believe how smart she is. She now knows her abc's, colors, can almost count to 20, and sings as many songs as she can. I have her in dance and she loves it!!! Her first dance recital will be in the week before Christmas. Believe me there will be tons of pictures!!!
